I accidentally posted this five weeks ago for a few minutes. This is a photo I took a few moments after the shot I used for the 150th. This was taken shortly after sunset, with a patchy fog settling and lifting over Juneau, Alaska, where the Diamond Princess was gliding out of port just before our ship did. As the ship grew closer, a cloud descended upon it, and it looked like a ghost ship. I liked the way the fog softened the lights around the Diamond Princess.
For some reason, I also really liked the reflections on the guardrail and the sharp angles coming out of the point where the ship was about to start disappearing from view. I don't know whether this is a good shot from a technical standpoint; I just know it was one of my favorites.
This is a great shot in my humble opinion.
