Corn Gods, He Wrote.

I once had a dyslexic literature teacher, which was every bit as frustrating for the students as it sounds, but I got back at him by choosing The Origins of Corn Gods as the subject of my term paper. The first outline I turned in looked like this:

• Yum K'aax was a corn god.
• Dagan was a corn god.
• Osiris was a corn god.
• Centeotl was a corn god.
• Lugh was a corn god.

I took great satisfaction knowing that my outline was making him hungry.
