    I know, in every game, that there are a million ways things could have gone different, and sighing over one play is kind of pointless.

    That said, at USC 24, UW 17, with the ball near midfield, the UW punt returner *not calling for fair catch*--followed by the truly stellar strip and recovery by USC--really seemed to be the central play of the game. UW's offense wasn't doing much of anything at that point, so it's hard to say, "We would have won, man!" However, it certainly changed everything and gave USC the opportunity to just put the game away.
