Here are another ten recent pulls from the Netflix queue, with my one-to-five plus rating, and the IMDB users' score.
- Run Fatboy Run (6.9) +++++ I loved it. My favorite English movie since the Full Monty.
- The X-Files: I Want to Believe (6.1) ++++ Not at all what I expected, but I loved it.
- The Dark Knight (9.0) ++++ It had too many endings. Aside from that, awesome.
- Disturbia (7.0) ++++ A few plot holes, but tense and awesome.
- Tropic Thunder (7.4) +++ Funny, but stupid.
- Step Brothers (6.8) +++ Stupid, but funny.
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars (5.2) +++ Less lame than I thought it might be. Almost ... good
- The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. (5.2) ++ The cliches wore thin.
- You Don't Mess with the Zohan (5.7) + It was far more stupid than funny.
- Mamma Mia! (6.9) + I hated it. 2 hours too long. Pointless ending. Sucked, sucked, sucked.
Did I mention that Mamma Mia! sucked? Aside from the clever gimmick of working every ABBA song into the plot, it was worthless, and since the songs were all ABBA songs, even the gimmick sucked. A waste of great acting talent and almost two hours of my life.
