Andrew Thomas Gallo, 22, of Riverside, the driver of the minivan accused of running a red light and causing the deaths of Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart and Henry Pearson, and severely injuring Jon Wilhite, is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday for murder, vehicular manslaughter, felony hit and run, and drunken driving involving fatalities and great bodily injury. Hospital tests indicated that Gallo had a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.08, and he was driving on a suspended license after a previous drunken-driving conviction.
Keep me off that jury, judge, because I'm thoroughly convinced that this guy should spend the rest of his life in jail.
