I almost went with: Boise State, BYU

I think the AP is overrating: Alabama, Ohio State, TCU, Louisville

I can't believe anyone gave votes this week to: Penn State

College Football is Back

Only one ranked team is in play tonight, South Carolina @ Vanderbilt. I like Vandy +6½.

In weeknight Pac-12 play, UCLA opens at Rice. I'd take Rice +16. Washington State is @ BYU. I like the Cougars. Heh. I'll take WSU +11½. Northern Colorado is @ Utah and Northern Arizona is @ Arizona State. I don't bet on the FBS/FCS games.

Tomorrow, San Jose State is @ #21 Stanford. I like Stanford -25. In the Boise St. @ Michigan St. game, I like the Spartans -7.

USC starts Saturday at home against Hawaii. The traitor Norm Chow returns for the first time as a head coach. I despise him a lot less now that he has doffed his ugly powder blue and gold. Follow me on Twitter @USCFootballNews. I only have about 3,000 followers. I need more.
