2012 ... And Then There Were 6

In the battle to become the last unbeaten team in America, there are 6 contenders left. Florida, Oregon St., Mississippi St., Rutgers & Ohio lost last weekend. Here are the super six (with AP rankings in parentheses followed by their opponent this week):

3. Kansas St. (3) - Oklahoma St.
4. Notre Dame (4) - Pitt
5. Ohio St. (6) - Illinois
6. Louisville (12) - Temple

By conference, the totals are: Big 12 (1), Big East (1), Big Ten (1), Ind (1), Pac-12 (1) and SEC (1). The ACC, C-USA, Mountain West, MAC, WAC and Sun Belt have none. Everyone is in play, and from here on out, there will be no regular season games between unbeaten teams. So we will end the week with anywhere from 0 to 6 perfect teams. Two have tough road challenges. Two have tough home challenges. It'll be a good week.
