Take four measurements and commit them to memory:
- The precise width of your thumbnail
- The precise length of your longest finger
- The precise width of your hand span (tip of thumb to tip of pinky)
- The precise width of your armspan (index finger to index finger with your arms fully extended)
That gives you the ability to measure almost anything, small or large, in terms of thumbnails, fingers, hand spans and armspans, which you can then quickly convert to other measurements. Now more wondering if that TV is too big, or those seeds are planted too close or that table is too long.
